Why would you be glad it was removed if you never used it? Being indifferent would make more sense. Not to be rude but you must be a terrible SMN. The number of times my titan has tanked when a tanked dc'd or all but me party wipe I can't even begin to count. This almost is enough to turn me off of playing SMN all together.

It was super useful with titan.

They are a pure healer person and insults anyone that tries to reason with them, asking to do more actions then once a minute, I wouldn't bother.

Sustain is a huge hit to both SCH and SMN and I really want to know why they removed it. The only way that makes sustain justified for removal if they make all pets immune to damage, something that does not exist. I could used sustain on the trial I had today.

So we as the pet job loose the only way to truly heal our pet yet we keep the most useless healing skill..how does that make sense? If they at least made it so that our "heal" skill would heal pets higher than players so that we could use this but there was no change. How can I now survive the higher floors in Palace of the death, especially the bosses? Even with the old skill Titan got quite the damage so it was not that easy to keep him up. At the point where he would die I would have that much aggro on the boss that even resummon him instantly would not take the aggro away from me, so this would mean the death to us summoners..

Because I never used sustain you think I'm terrible SMN? You might want to rethink what you just said tbh. Just because I don't use a useless action (IMO) doesn't make me a bad SMN. it's not may fault that I'm bloody good at using my class that my Egi doesn't need Sustain.... Just saying

Soloing maps/A-Rank monsters/Tanking in DF when your tank D/C's, these are all things you could do with sustain. If you never did them, you missed out on a challenge and playing SMN as a pet class, because soloing with your pet tanking something tough (or many things!) was very exciting.

I would solo Peisteskin maps in 2.0 Lv50 SMN, and HW A-Ranks in 3.0 Lv60 SMN. It was very fun. But without sustain, you cannot do it anymore. Nor can you tank PotD if you get put in a Pt without a tank.

Yeah I tried it too in the new content...

Failed. Without Sustain you can't do that anymore. Boss mobs in fates are impossible now.

You can still do normal mobs, but anything more than that... and combine it with the huge DPS hit on SMN... yeah not working.

I think it's obvious they don't want you doing this hence the change, same with the changes to War.

Yep titan is pretty much useless now.
I can adapt to the loss of the dot and making the summoner another generic caster but loosing the only spell we have to heal our pet is really turning me off.
I still have to lvl to 70 but im not sure im gonna keep the summoner as a main
