How do we heal our Egi, with the removal of Sustain I looked at the other abilities to see if an effect or so might heal or buff them but didn't see anything. Have the Egi's been buffed to compensate or has anyone else read anything?

NOTE: This isn't a complaint just asking for more info if available or if I missed something. I'll still try out SMN to see how it plays.

Probably with Physick. Or you let the healer heal it. or the Red Mage.

Smn's now can't keep there pets alive now. Sustain was one most used skills used when soloing as a smn. titan dies to fast now. Physick is worthless skill for summoner. Heals for nothing hardly can't even keep your tanking pet healed with it. Give us back sustain.

what i do. Let pet die and summon new one with swiftcast.

We may have to deal with some positioning with ones like Ifrit so he's out of harms way.

Otherwise, as a healer I usually have to use AoE cures and your pet is normally in range.

On a personal note I like to look out for the pets, target and regen.

I am at work but if someone could test our SMN cure and see how it looks, I'd like to hear. Good question and concern though.

Wow, it seems so from what you have to say. Although, I'm going to have pancakes tomorrow for breakfast. I'm sorry I figured since we're going to start spewing out jibberish, mine might as well involve pancakes and their sweet fluffy goodness. Not on the subject of potency nerfs and how Ruin III is or if Ifrit hits for less. Doesn't relate to the defensive aspect of what he's asking. Swift cast has long cd and once summon new pet takes time for it to gain agro back.

Ruin 3 is mega nerfed. It went from 2800-3000 damage outside of Trance.... down to 2000-2200 outside of Trance.

Tri-Disaster per tick used to be 1800 per tick... with a high ticks of 2200.... down to 1000-1100 per tick.

I thought with Maim and Mend with +30% pet damage might make this up... but it can't even do that.

Ifrit was hitting for about 880-900 prior.... still only doing 990 damage.

Garuda was hitting for 1100-1200 prior... still only doing 1300 damage.

So nothing balanced out.

Summoner got mega nerfed.

Not to mention Sustain helped out SMN who are partied with players who use a controller to play. I have to adjust my targeting in order to select something or someone outside of my party, not to mention if there is a lot of other players around cycling through the available choices could take a while. People who play with a mouse and keyboard can mouse over, great, I can't since I'm on a PS$ and use a controller. Sustain's removal is one of those, "what were you thinking?", choices
