What do you think this means for war? Is it as bad as people believed?
How different will the gameplay be this time around?

It´s as bad as it seemed since the Media Tour.
Onslaught is just bad. Upheaval is good. Shake it off, we´ll have to see if we get some uses on Bossfights. Inner Release is great, except the shared CD with unchained which is bullshit and Infuriate only in Combat is bad.
i'm happy, war is suffering as they should be, how dare they became ahead of us in 3.x they should stay in trash bin like they were in 2.0
thank you very much SE for doing us a favor and for putting us on top of the food chain again
~ 95% of PLD main

The only thing I found potentially interesting is the trait at 66 that lowers the recast of infuriate when hits from fell cleave, inner beast, steel cyclone and decimate land. I wonder if that means that AOE abilities reduce recast by 5 seconds per target hit or juts 5 seconds per ability use so long as it hits a target.
I am a bit bummed at berserk, vengeance and raw intuition not giving inner beast, and at the loss of bloodbath.
I'd like to see some math on storm's path, it seems underwhelming now, but I suppose the 20 inner beast could be worth the reduced potency. And I don't understand the changes to maim/storm's eye, seems superfluous and only serves to make war less effective under 50.
A bit put-off by the reduction to Self-Sustain.
that's their own fault for playing the "main" game and i will rip anyone a new asshole that says anything like that seriously because they obviously never played 2.0
So Inner Beast still gives 100% HP back from dmg and storm's path still gives 50% back like before the patch. Not sure why they are dumbing down the tooltips but it goods Warriors didn't lose that.
