SE made this game AST only, why?

When it was announced that there were only two jobs coming and it the reality started to sink in that they both might be dps, I made a comment along the lines of "I hope whatever changes they make to healers and tanks don't drive people away to the dps role" because that means queues are only going to get worse for dps.

This is what I was talking about.

When someone asked me if I was going to run any dungeons as SAM or RDM this weekend I said, "Nope. But I'm sure going to take advantage of the fact that no one's playing healer right now and queue my AST."

I'll play around with the new jobs a bit, run a few FATEs and test the skills on dummies, but I'm not even going to bother trying to run any content on them. Hell, I might just push AST from 52-60 as fast as I can so I can queue on that for the new content instead of BRD.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I actually love AST. I had leveled WHM to 60, but recently started playing AST seriously and really fell in love with it, and have been thinking of changing mains to it anyway. This just kind of reinforces that decision.
