    'Minimum Item Level' Incentive idea

    While we're waiting for the maintenance to conclude, I thought of an idea that would make the rarely used "Minimum Item Level" option in the Duty Finder fun. Add achievements that can be rewarded alongside rewards that can only come from completing them.

    Achievements like defeating Garuda EX with the added stipulation that none of the stone pillars can be damaged, or completing The First Coil of Bahamut: Turn 2 w/o dying to Allagan Rot or allowing the encounter to go into enrage. Perhaps defeating the Oppressors in A1 without allowing their hp gauges to be more than 5% apart or enabling Self-Destruct.

    But why go through all of this trouble for some challenging achievements? Exclusive minions, glamour, among many other rewards not impacting gameplay. In the case of minions, they can be glowing versions of their normal counterparts and interact with each other in a different manner, or a special jacket featuring Sephirot's multiple arms for some crazy gpose fun.

    To qualify for said achievements, the following requirements should be put into place:
    Minimum Item Level must be selected in the Duty Finder
    Party composition must comprise of 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 4 dps all as their respective job (not classes)
    Each participant has to clear the duty (marked by possessing the associated achievement)

    What do you guys think? Feel free to share your own challenge ideas and potential rewards for completing them

    Personally I dont really see why we would need rewards for that - if you want to make a personal challenge out of content just go ahead and do that?

    For me its actually more fun to just set those challenges for myself and my group - it makes the challenge more fun because we do it only because we want to do it and not because of some shiny reward at the end.
    I dont need a reason to create a challenge for myself within the game, the challenge itself and the knowledge that we made it, is reward enough. I dont want challenges be turned into yet another grind.

    Certain ideas also sound a bit difficult to track down, just on a technical side - so if they wanted to make more challenging content, I'd actually prefer them to spend that time with creating new content instead of re-visiting the old stuff yet again.

    Finding seven like-minded people in the party finder to do something just for the fun of it is a lot harder than it sounds on paper.

    Well, I'm doing this stuff like we did it when it was current content: With friends, FC, and LS-people. Not with some randoms from the partyfinder.
    To me that makes those challenges a lot more enjoyable, or actually: it makes the whole game more enjoyable to have actually like-minded people around and not just 7 randoms who share the same goal but not the same values.

    This reminds me of Vindictus' daily quest. Every day, you had 3 random tasks to complete while in a dgn (like make a campfire or kill X amount of kobolds with spears). I'd rather see such a thing across the board than just min ilvl requirement. Plus, I'd also rather have consumable rewards than permanent ones, that way it removes the strain of people trying to get others to complete those extra challenges.

    So kind of WoW's raid achievements? I'd be totally down for this such as keep the 3 towers in A11S alive.

    Something similar to that, maybe have the reward be a minature Cruise Chaser that moves forward then back and forward and back
