Amazon UK Customers, anyone got their early access codes yet?

I'll be phoning them shortly again, in future I think I'm gonna say screw trying to save a few quid and just get it direct.

I am contemplating cancelling my order and getting it on the SE store so I can play with my friends today

After contacting Amazon via chat I was told

I checked with my resources and can confirm that your order is much eligible to get early access code.
Our internal team started to sending the code vi email for the pre-ordered customers.
I can confirm that you will receive an email confirmation with code before the event starts.

So soon? Maybe? I hope.

Chatted to them on the phone, same kind of response, told me to wait an hour or two more.

I even advised them that they really *REALLY* are cutting it fine with this.

I just contacted Amazon again: "I have checked and see that you will receive the code via email by the end of today"

This isn't completely on topic but I have always had issues when ordering things such as this with Amazon UK. My friend wanted to play at HW Early Access last time and we had nothing but issues trying to sort the code out. Next time try ShopTo, I used them for all of my games and have personally never had an issue (I know everyone has different experiences). Had my EA code for Stormblood as soon as they were available and so did my friend and sister.

Serilda, I hope you get something sorted for your partner. I know it sucks when this happens.

I have just chatted to their support and they've said "Your code will emailed you within 24hrs of early access on 16/06/2017". To me that implies within 24 hours of EA starting, but it sounds like they mean it as within 24hours after it starting. they said they will email the codes when they've got them from the manufacturer. I asked if they had even received the codes yet from SE and he said he couldn't tell me that. so i don't know if this problem is with SE or Amazon. If SE hasnt released the codes to them yet, then i'd like answers from the community team.

Nah. This happens a lot with Amazon with pre-orders. There is no way Square Enix screwed up and not give Amazon - a major online retailer - no codes yet when they given them to the little providers. This is just Amazon UK being Amazon UK.

And to add to this, a few other Amazon UK customers have received their code and also many on Amazon US. The fact some of you guys are nearly 20mins away from the start of early access and still no code is just terrible service, sounds like a lot of excuse making on the retailers part. Really hope you guys still waiting can get something sorted.
