If I read the patch notes correctly the bonus Attribute Points have been removed, meaning we all will have the exact same stats as certain jobs. Sure it was a small thing but I liked my additional max HP Saved me from wiping on more than one occasion in fact.

Most people put points into their main stat anyway. It looks like whoever designed it had intended us to have more points than we were getting, while setting a max stat cap so we could hit maybe a main stat and then choose extra health, mana, etc. Instead we just got enough points to keep up with the cap.

This...melding 35 VIT would be less DPSloss than realocation of your bonus points...

There was no customisation since 2.x with bonus points and even then it was suboptimal.

I think you are all missing the point of this thread, except for Dustytome. It's about a loss of free customization, no matter how small, and not about judging how I or anyone else used the points. Sure people tended to dump them into the job's main stat anyway but still we had a choice, and now we don't.

Yeah Bonus attributes didn't have much use. They are gone but there is really no reason for the hyperbolic title. It's not like all the options at character creation and the asthetitian are going away. Or the admittedly bad but still better than nothing glmaour system. Or role actions that will most definitely change between solo play and group content. Or the new PVP actions with the last few abilities and all the traits pickable.

It wasn't customization though, there was a right way and a wrong way to spend them. That's not customizing, that's a noob-trap (Excuse the term).
