so I'm not at the point where it matters, but just for the record, we are avoiding Spell Speed like the plague?

we want Crit ->Direct Hit, right? seemed to be the way that made sense to me at first glance

If we truly want to avoid the most SS, you could swap out the necklace and hat for Genji. I haven't seen any stat weights so I don't know if the DH on the Lost Allagan outweighs the Crit/Det on the Genji, though.
