SAM isn't all that it's hyped up to be, it has its downfalls and they don't have your MNK raid utility so i'd rather have a monk. Oh, and ninja still has the slashing debuff, it's just tied into Shadow Fang now.
NIN lost their debuff, It's PVP set now unless this has changed in the last month. I mean I hope it did but then I also hoped MNK's damage wasn't nerfed and my chakra building wasn't set up behind dual RNG walls and party dependency. And other than a potential lack of raid utility, I don't see the downfalls of SAM. As far as theory is concerned, SAM is everything monk should have been in 3.0 considering it didn't have any raid utility then.
