Bad communication

You can Fanboy SE there as much as you like but he has a point, the communication this time was just not good, its not about game elements alone even on informations about the head start etc, i mean i wouldt have killed them to atleast say how much to download, when can we start to download etc etc.
But yeah its pointless to open threads in this forum, in the end its always the same everything is fine and you are bad for asking/speaking about it.

If you think Square's communication is bad, you have not been following how silent Blizzard is to their player base. Coming from WoW, I'm overwhelmed with how chatty and nice and social the devs (and players, for that matter) in this game are. Be thankful that it's as good as it is!

Also, I'm far less concerned about communication and more concerned about how often the developers actually listen to us, and for the most part, the XIV team has been doing exactly what the players have asked for at nearly every turn.

This community sometimes (many) likes to embody this expression ... "give them a finger they want/DEMAND the whole hand" ...

Let the game come out, they explained/shown enough ... if it sucks we will see.. but the amount of drama recently i have read all around...

The only thing im disappointed about when it comes to communcation is the lack of information about DoL/DoH since they are undergoing some changes according to the preliminary notes.

But again, I wouldn't make a Q_Q thread on a forum about it.

Have I missed something? Except some QoL things (like no GP cap on non-DoL) they still work like before 4.0
The only big change is the return of the spears for fishers.
And SE spoiled that infos some weeks ago already with the picture of the Fisher AF.

I just had to triple this. You really don't know how good you have it. Coming from a game like WoW, this game's developers have great communication. It's one of it's shining qualities to me. I don't see any issue personally with them releasing notes the day before.
