Will Stormblood lift the RNG bull**** from our Machinists\\' Split => Slug => Clean combo? I love the job but ffs (4) Split Shots in a row are happening far too often considering the supposed 50% proc. Cast time or no, I may jump ship if RNGesus is still around in Stormblood.

RDM has it much easier since they are only relying on procing verfire/verstone off of verthunder or veraero. Verholy and Verflare will always be 100% if done right. That's one skill you have to worry about to complete you chain and if you fail its not as big of a damage loss as MCH. MCH has a 50% proc from 1 to 2 and a 50% proc from 2 to 3. Failing either those ruins your chain and drops your dps much more.

I can definitely picture RNGesus giving us phases where RDM ends up doing Jolt -> Thunder -> Impact -> Air over and over without getting procs for Fire and Stone.

A base rotation of 4 spells is quite different from a base rotation of 1 spell, though.

RNG isn't as bad as what people make it out to be on MCH, and those that believe it is may need to check their rotations. Forums will be forums.

Possibly, as from the trailer it looks like the Ammo mechanic is changing, having only 3 stacks now, and what looked to be Edit: special attacks consuming the Ammo... so yeah, between the removal of the cast time, and a hopefully far more interesting Ammo mechanic (as fun as it is telling RNGesus to get ****ed), MCH may actually be enjoyable to play (Edit: IMO).

I hope they get rid of the RNG on it. Spamming the first step of your combo on a melee job would be extremely boring, and that's exactly what MCH is so much of the time.
