An alternative to parsers...

You know, parser threads how they will go to be. I'd like try suggest something different.

What about some special character effect that triggers when your dps reaches certain levels? Something cool and nice to see, but it triggers if your dps is over a given threshold.

It will be fun, and maybe some dps that before hadn't any interest in improve, they wanna do it, just for the fun to have that cool thing activated and show it off the party.

Lets make it two-stages, a cool aura if you're good, and awesome aura for awesome dps, and everyone will be happy.

I just imagine the AST with a single-player balance, to whom he can drop it? Ho, that guy is on fire! Get that!

Instead have the usual parser numbers that we know they just put division between players, let instead add something fun to the game and reaches the scope but enjoying the game.

They should just give us personal parsers. You can only see how you yourself are doing.

this is even worse than parsers for harassing people.

To some a personal damage meter would help to tell a player if they aren't doing so well. Knowing that a Player might then try to figure out what he/she is doing wrong. To some the meter would be a means to help players achieve higher performance.

So. Not bad if not revealed to others.

I see a lot of benefit but I wont say them, since majority will mostlikely make up some BS and say something I never said lol

A PERSONAL parser where only YOU yourself can see how much dps you're doing would be greatly desired so people can improve their own dps. But allowing OTHER players to see your dps would be harmful. We know how it is in WoW where anyone can easily see your dps and kick you when you're not doing what in their mind is enough.

If this a reason to not have it, then we need already remove the bonus message from the game, because "bonus = kick". At least the glowing can be checked playing and the guy got a chance, while with bonus he is kicked on sight.
