1000 characters is incredibly short in roman alphanumeric languages.

As per title; I don't know if the 1000 character limit is set with Japanese players in mind, but in English atleast, it's extremely short to say what you want to say. According to a random translation agency's website that I looked up, a legal document (as an exmaple) averages about 2 japanese characters per English word.

According to my friend google again, the average word length of Enlglish is 5.1 characters per word, and English also uses significantly more spaces (one per word instead of one per sentence).

Let's call it 6 characters per word on average; Japanese posts can contain an average of 3 times more content with the same character limit.

TLR; please increase the character limit for the forum, it's really annoying to cut paragraphs of text or multi-post when it seems a needless limitation.

You can bypass the character limit by editing your post afterwards.
Usual thing to do is posting with a hint that you are still editing ('edit incoming' for example) and then add more stuff you want to say.
