Triple Triad card drop rate?

Just wanted to know at which rate do you drop cards from dungeons? it feels like everyone got them once every 2 dungeons while I spend a dozen of time getting them. How can a 3* be more rare than Cloud of Darkness that is 5* and drop once every 2-3 WoD?

All depends on RNG really. Drop rates are just rates, nothing is set in stone with RNG....


Well in 4.0 they're making it so items will drop for someone in your group when you do content, so that's when it'll be less RNBS

Some cards have better drop rates than others, and it is definitely *not* based on the amount of stars. I have battled NPCs enough to be able to notice that. For instance, I got eight or nine Tiamat cards (four stars) before I got the Hilda card (three stars) on my old character, and on my current, I got plenty of Tiamat cards and no Hilda card yet. So really, it differs from card to card. Likewise for dungeon drop rates - cards like Xande and Cloud of Darkness have high drop rates compared to some other dungeon drops with lower stars.

Npcs are worse imo.. still havent gotten paisa card ._. Meanwhile dropped 3 5* cards off npcs in 90mins today lol

cards in dungeons are around 20-30% from my experiences, some dungeons took me 30 runs until I got it, sometimes I get them first try

...and....once you got a card the droprate feels to increase to 90% :P

I never farmed dungeons, trials or raids for cards. I got them by doing dailies and weeklies.
