Questions regarding mogstation

So currently my account is standard(steam). I purchased a PC ver. of stormblood but ofc it doesnt work on my account. I was wondering what if i buy an arr pc ver. and apply the game code to my mogstation account. Would it let me use the pc ver of stormblood that i just bought?

You cant apply a PC normal version to an account with a steam version. the 2 are mutually exclusive. You have to get the expansions through steam.

Ouch. Yeah, what Lenneth said -- SE considers "Steam" and "PC" to be two different platforms, unfortunately.

You can try for a refund, or hope someone at Square Enix support will take pity and change over your code...

Yeah i sent a ticket if id be able to get a refund but its looking grim thast why i thought that maybe this way i can at least save some money. ty for the answers!

If all else fails and you paid with a credit/debit card... you can always call up your bank/provider, tell them you tried to get a refund, and ask them to reverse the charge. Don't do this is you got it from a merchant you don't want to tick off (eg Steam), but if it was some random store or online merchant, it's a last resort you can use.

This product is not compatible with the Steam version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. If you’ve purchased FFXIV: A Realm Reborn on Steam, then you must also purchase FFXIV: Stormblood on Steam to upgrade your existing account.

If you do this to SE your account will be immiedatly banned from what I've read.

Actually, if you bought a non-steam pc version of the game it would probably work, since HW comes with SB.

you might have to install fresh non-steam versions for it work, though.

It doesn't The account is locked to steam or non-steam from the first code you input.

As already mentioned, you can't do that. You can't register a non-steam PC version if you have the Steam version already.
