I don't know where else to bring this up and I was told to try and make a post here for a possible resolution.

In late January when the Stormblood Collector's Edition was released for pre-order, I immediately placed my order. At the time, there was only a Playstation and PC version avaliable of the physical Collector's Edition, and I saw no disclaimer or warning that buying the PC version would not be compitable with a Steam based account.

I was told otherwise last night via the support system, after having tried for weeks to make my Early Access code work, in which I was finally told by a friend to try asking Square Enix support desk for help. There, I was first given an automated reply, one of the FAQs being something related to my problem, saying a PC version of the game would NOT be compitable with a Steam service account.

In surprise and confusion, I sent another more detailed question in, and it ticks in a bit before I go to bed saying I would have to return the product to sender so I could get a refund, and then purchase the proper Steam version of the product.

This is something I would be unable to do as my account has already been debited, and sending back such a large package would be very costly on me in shipping, and I don't have the money to pay for another version of the game now until later in June regardless of being willing to do so or not just to get to play the Early Access...

If anything, I am just making one last attempt here. Is there really no other way I could have this problem resolved, or should I just accept my fate and miss out on the early access and stuff that I looked forward to?
