[Recruitment][MC] GMT +8 static

Hi friends, Megalovania Raid static is reforming for Stormblood. There's currently 4 of us (1 tank, 2 healer 1 SAM) and for the first tier of Stormblood we're looking to complete the roster with 1 more tank (D'oh) 1 more melee 1 range and 1 caster

The group's primary objective is to clear the latest raid (to an extent primal as well) content as soon as possible, farming the encounters and then do speedruns (more of a git gud run really) attempts of the fight.
Why speedruns? to build up chemistry in the group and to learn how to maximize our jobs in order to prepare ourselves for the next raid tier

We are currently looking for:

• PLD/DRK/WAR
• BRD/MCH

We're thinking that there should be no problem on progressing through the first tier with (any) standard composition.
However after we clear and as we gear up for speedruns we will be shifting to a better/optimized party composition, what it means is whoever it is in the static need to be ready to switch to another job if its going to benefit the group more.

Raid Schedule
The mandatory raid days will be Tues-Fri 10pm-1am GMT+8 with the potential of extra days during early progression.

Here's our projected raid schedule throughout the cycle as the new tier drops:

1. Week 1-2 : 4+ raid days
2. Week 3+ : 4 day in a week until we clear with potential extra day if we are close to killing a fight (ex: on the last 10% of a fight on friday night)
3. Farm Week 1-2 : Only raid for weekly clears as we discuss what party comp are we going for speedruns
4. Farm Week 3+ : back to 4 day a week schedule for speedruns
5. Farm Week ? : down to 3 day a week schedule to prevent burnout, also going to be doing random fun stuff like progressing through the fight on alt jobs etc.
6. Short break before the next tier drop. HYPE!

Still interested? now let's talk about Requirements, we need you to....

• Be punctual (VERY IMPORTANT) if you really cant make it in time ALWAYS GIVE EARLY NOTICE on discord.
• Get Discord. We use discord for ingame and out of game communication
• Be communicative. You don't have to be talkative all the time on discord, but we do need you to be able to communicate for fight mechanics adjustment etc on the fly. (ie: swift is down, less tank cooldown than normal etc.)
• (Preferrably) Have prior raid experience.
• Be prepared. Get your raid consumables and gear melds before raid night(s)
• Be hungry (lol) for improvement! keep thinking on what you can improve for the next raid day. We understand that some people learn slower (or faster) than others so as long as we keep improving even by just a small margin everytime, that is acceptable.
• Be a team player. Be it by passing for loot distribution (We'll have it setup for progression), studying an alternative opener, learning new jobs etc.
• Able to take and give criticism without getting personal about it (pls. we just want to play geims and git gud. not have drama)

Hi, I'm a returning player from ARR. I just recently returned and currently chasing the content to catch up for Stormblood.
I'm interested to join as WAR.

Not much of an experience, but :
- Was part of a semi HC static in Zodiark, we were all DPS maniacs.
- Cleared Bahamut coils (up to T13) before patch 3.0 came out (on DRG and WAR).
- Cleared A1(savage) before patch 3.1 came out (on WAR).

That's pretty much it, aside from that, I'm friendly (I guess? XD) and always willing to improve. I stopped playing right after I cleared A1s with my old static since I moved out from Europe to Asia, and it was difficult to maintain a proper raiding time with ppl in 2 different timezones.

At this moment I'm still catching up with the gear iLvl, etc. But I guess it won't be a big deal since Stormblood is coming really soon.
