I'm jumping from Balmung over to Omega.
In addition to the ping having become an increasing issue for me, in the end I thought it would be a great opportunity! New server, new people, a chance to make it big if the new server doesn't flop!

And, should the worst happen, I'm still connected to the EU data center so it isn't like I won't be able to play with anyone.

If it will be allowed (US->EU), then yes I am making the jump (from Sargatanas).
Because the increased ping times after the move made the game unplayable.
Thought all EU-US players will get free transfers to allow us to play on EU, but I was wrong about that. EU seriously lacks players, so it would have been great.

It's very tempting. I'm on Primal and have quite a lot of friends that I don't want to leave, but I'm also from Europe and the new ping is cringy but not unplayable. I have an alt on Balmung that I haven't touched for like over six months or something. I will likely be moving the alt and see how having low ping feels like. haha

I would be curious about moving to a super low population server even though I am pretty sure my current one is on the lower side anyway.

My biggest concern, the lack of a gil cap will likely lead to a busted MB for months if not possibly years to come.

Well, I'll transfer my Cerberus alt over to Omega. I got no connections with her, so why not snatch free boni? I might even make a new character on it to quickly get a free 13-14 days game time by leveling an alt to 30 with the 100% XP bonus.

The rest is gonna stay on Balmung. Latency doesn't matter much for RP.

Still thinking about switching over with my 2 fc buddies, but it's up to them. I'd love a fresh server, but i can understand if they want to keep in touch with some other people here on Cerb.

I actually wanted to transfer too, together with my boyfriend.
We really wanted to leave Moogle, the only thing keeping us is our small FC house. And as you can't transfer FCs and houses just yet, we can't transfer. There will be transfer queues and then login queues and then every single house will be gone, so we can't even buy it as a private house or transfer back if we don't get the house because of the 90 days restriction.
And we don't want just any house, we want the exact same plot we chose back when most were still empty.

Also, it's only one new EU server instead of more than one as they said at first, so the chances to get a house are even lower.

Maybe someday when they open new housing wards we can transfer to another server. I hope they will.

I've had this house for over three years now and it's the most important thing in this game for me. Or else I would have bought it with an alt until I had another one.

I'm gonna transfer from Ragnarok, I'm not really attached to the larger server, have out of game contacts to all my friends on the server and there's a chance to get a better house for my fc (shameless advertising for anyone coming here from Balmung, hmu if you're looking for a rp fc ;D)
Also I'm gonna make an alt there because damn 15 days play time
