    keybind/HUD save function across characters

Can you please implement a way to save and restore keybinds&HUD layouts across characters?

Everytime I create a character or switch PC's I have to recreate my keybinds/HuD layout. On PC I can atleast copy my character data folder over to another PC but that only works for characters Ive already set keybinds/layouts for and only on PC.

It would be nice to create a character and just implement the keybinds from another character or system easily without having to take 15mins to an hour setting up everything I had the way I had it on my other characters.

It's saved locally, you can just copy paste the file of one character to another to save yourself the headache ^^ - once you figure out which file belongs to whom

This doesn't necessarily work well for PS4 users though and I do play across both systems.

In regards to windows though, do you know which files have the keybind/HUD? I dont want to risk accidently wiping out something. (Of course I do have my character data backed up regularly to an external drive in the event of a crash)

I know it is not what your requesting and I agree it is something they can do because they have done it for FFXI. However the bold is wrong. What you do is figure out the folder name of the character you want to copy TO. make a copy of the folder you want to copy FROM, move it in a space like desktop so it is safer to rename, then rename it by copying the name once you find out the file name of the other character. Walla, you cloned your layout.

You have to figure it out by trial and error, copy all the folders and put them somewhere, then delete the folders that you game reads one by one.
On the copied versions, edit the name by putting the name next to the numbers, so you know in the future. (then make more copies when you put them back and new destination, editing the name extensions out on the new copies)

I have an alt account, both accts 8 chrs each soo... I know from experience.

What if you're on PS4 tho? There is literally no way to do this on PS4.

I hate that. I can understand why they save HUD layouts on the computer you are using, since different computers can have different set ups that might not work the same. But why in gods name are gear sets stored in the same place? ...sorry I think I was triggered.

Sure it's possible to copy the folders all the time but when playing with multiple characters and pcs reguarly you have to do that as soon as you change something that you want to be applied to all characters. And when playing with multiple pcs (for example i use a laptop at school and play regularly durign breaks *cough* so that's a lot of switching around) you have to copy the folders around as soon as you do so much as change a gear set, which can get a real pain in the behind.

I started on the PS3 and then a couple PCs and I'm looking forward to re-doing it again when Apple decides to ship me my iMac. I empathise. (Yes I have paid for this game 3 times...)
