Black screen: sounds still + keyboard seems working

Hello my gf is encountering bit irritating problem: FF seems to crash her graphics card if I'm right Her screen goes black but we can still hear game sounds and the keyboard seems to be interacting with the game still. Any clues what could cause / help with the situation? We've tried some random stuff but nothing so far seems to have helped.

Had similar problems with my AMD 290, among others. Wasn't able to solve them so ended up grabbing an NVIDIA card. AMD cards have had problems from this game since day 1, and nobody has done anything to fix them.

Will you please provide us with more information? Have you tried any steps to resolve the issue? What OS version (can find out on windows by searching for About My PC), GPU, and graphic driver version do you have? Does she have things like vertical sync or free sync enabled? Are there any error messages that show up when the display works again such as "The graphic drivers seems to have stop responding and successfully restarted"?

Sorry for not posting any more specifications - after trying different things on game settings I tested for the giggles to put everything on maximum - strangely after that the game hasn't crashed for couple of days. Thanks for all the help here though!
