May we have some clarification on upcoming free server transfers please

The way Yoshida spoke about it during the live letter gave the impression they only plan on giving perks to the new servers. I sincerely hope that isn't the case.

The post on the lodestone that OP linked (i think, didn't actually click it lmao) pretty clearly states that the bonuses apply to both new and designated servers. The only thing making me worry is that it doesn't say that transfers to new worlds will be free, even though everything else is typed twice...

Oh, I know. It's just the way Yoshi spoke that made it sound like they were only doing it for the new servers. I certainly hope that doesn't turn out to be the case otherwise they're nuts thinking people will transfer off Balmung or Gilgamesh.

That's how i read the initial post. They most likely want to promote people to move to the new servers. I have no problem with that , though I have everything at 60 on my main so I wouldnt really benefit it. Depending how the whole gain subtime/gil going to work out.

Yoshida said in the E3 Live Letter you'll get more info the 15th in a Lodestone news post. He did mention it will detail the bonuses on said server as well as explain what you can expect in terms of added transfer possibilities (he mentioned possible unlimited gil caps and even maybe transfering housing plots, maybe). Anyway, look forward to reading about it tomorrow.
