If you can complete SSS dummy than you know your rotation. You should also know if you're hitting your rotation. You know when you're mucking it up and also know when you are nailing it. So I don't see any need to have a DPS parser when others have said that there are tools to gauge whether or not you know your rotation.

I still disagree. The LAST thing this game needs is anyway to increase elitism. A personal DPS meter quickly becomes a "Hey look at my DPS in the last fight" deal.

If that means I'd get DPS that actually have something to show off, then I'm more than happy. Devastating majority of pugs have pathetic numbers and there is no way to tell it to them without taking notes of their performance mid-fight.

Dummies literally tell you inaccurate information for one. They dont tell you what your dps is while executing mechanics for two. And for three, beating a dummy with 1 second left means nothing when in reality you should be beating it with 30 left.
