I like that there are no damage meters in the game, and not available at all for ps4. Coming from WoW, where people are glued to how much damage they did, was one of the reasons I stopped playing that game. It drives players into the mentality that whoever does the most damage is better, which isn't always the case, especially during progression. The reason progression usually took so long was because people were too busy trying to get the best numbers instead of learning the mechanics of the fight. Sure, higher damage output certainly can make fights easier, but if the boss doesn't die, the amount of damage you did during the attempt doesn't mean anything, unless the fight specifically has a dps check mechanic.
