Shinryu vs Omega (spoilers)

ok just finished HW just in time for stormblood

So we know that Omega has been deactivated preventing the empire from using it. But what about Shinryu? Was it wounded so badly during it's fight with Omega or is it still rampaging. It makes me wonder if it is fighting the empire in Doma or just wounded. I also think this was it was hinted of Estinien coming out of retirement in the trailer. Because he knows what it's like being possessed by nidhogg's eyes. I wonder still, if we might have to fight both omega and shinryu in a future raid

The name of the new raid is "The interdimensional rift of omega" so I'd say that's a pretty big clue that omega and/or shinryu probably created a "dimensional rift" when they attacked each other with their ultimate attacks and are now trapped inside said rift.

How this creates a problem for the warrior of light and eorzea remains to be seen.

I forgot which npc said it, but s/he mentioned that both gave each other serious injuries before they disbursed.

Since Shinryuu is a Primal, I think it's safe to say that Shinryuu will slowly heal itself via absorbing the world's aether. Since it's powered by Nidhogg's eye I wonder if Estinien will be able to sense and locate it?
