I would like a content gate for raids and EX Trials. At the very least, EX Trials and Salvage Raids. No need for dungeons and non-EX Trials, but harder content could benefit from a gate.

How so...most of that stuff isn't included in duty finder pugging from the beginning. It's either party finder or statics. What do you guys want... make an already small player base get smaller and smaller.
Is it reset Tuesday yet.
I question whether I'm playing a PvE game with PvP mixed in, or I am I playing a PfG.
Shouldn't really get smaller. If designed properly anyone with half a brain should be able to easily clear the gate. The idea is to avoid people who don't know their class and/or do proper rotations like Ice Mages. Unless a large portion of the player base that does harder content are like that then it should really get smaller. When someone joins a party finder, you don't always know how they play; with a gate, you know at the very least they know the basics of their class and were able to clear the gate.
At the very least, they should add an option to the party finder that allows the leader to auto decline anyone who hasn't cleared the gate, or better yet, have multiple levels of gates and settings to auto decline anyone who doesn't meet the specified gate requirement. That way the people forming parties know that they are potentially increasing the time needed to form a party in return for a higher probability of finding better party members.
