So basically in your words... they broke BLM AoE... and then Boosted the SMN AoE... in 3.0 to make BLM "pay a price"

And never achieved their attempt to prevent "power creep".

So now they break SMN AoE... Boost BLM AoE... And likely will end up in the same shoes.

And it never occurred to you how pointless that was?

First off, lets stop with the exaggeration and hyperbole that either class has ever been placed in a state of being broken. That alone quells your argument quite a bit.

Second, you're acting like Buff/Nerf on both classes happened in equal increments- which they haven't. There's different levels of "Buff/Nerf AOE+ Single Target", you can have a little, a lot, potency values, damage drop offs. It's not just Buff and Nerf.

And anything outside of perfection is pointless in the grand scheme of things because it will just be altered again. All they can do is tweak and try for balance- even if that means not getting it the first time.

Both classes have seen the limelight and at the same time not castrated and removed the other from the game.
