Hi all! So I would consider myself pretty computer savy, but I'm at my wits end here. I am a returning player and recently started leveling a new character to play with some friends and family. I have been having game crashes randomly. There doesn't appear to be any consistency in them. Sometimes it crashes after 15-20 minutes sometimes I can get 2 hours before it crashes. So here are the things you all will want to know.
Windows 10
I7 6700k
Corsair H100i
32gb 3000mhz RAM
Asus GTX 1080
250 Gb SSD
1TB HDD
Corsair Hx850i
***Nothing is overclocked anymore***
Here are the things that I've tried (bear with me this is a lot I'll try to put them in order)
-adjusted graphic settings down
-adjusted graphic settings up
turn on and off AA, occulusion calling, LOD, Reflections, shadows, physics, limb darkening, radial blur, glare, ambient occlusion, depth of field
-I started having more and more blue screens so I completely did a system reset
-redownloaded FFXIV completely (default settings)
-updated bios, chipset, audio, graphics drivers
-adjusted Nvidia 3d settings off of optimal power to max perf.
-changed my screen refresh to 85hrz and limited ffxiv to 85fps (makes it run great on max settings when it doesn't crash)
-ran in both Dx 11 and Dx9 with compatibility mode Win 7 and 8
-I then ran the following hardware tests: Windows Mem test, Cinebench, Furmark, Crystal Disk Mark, Windows Disk Check. None failed or crashed and I monitored all temps with CPU-Z's hardware monitor. Nothing got about 65 C.
-I then did a full CPU reset with the Disk cleaning (that takes FOREVER!!!!!)
-re downloaded FFXIV AGAIN ran in fullscreen, windowed, borderless windowed
-downloaded the new Stormblood benchmark ran in just about all different settings and it cannot complete the benchmark without crashing
I don't seem to have any issues with other games (Witcher 3, Skyrim, Ashes of the Singularity, Grim Dawn, etc.) I am feeling super defeated here and don't know what to do from here. Attached are photos of all the codes I managed to snag when things do crash. I did also receive an "IRQL not less or Equal" during one of the settings. I'll be honest I've tried so many different things I don't know which error messages go with what settings I had.
