Coerthas Eastern Highlands/other Coerthas maps

Hello! I don't spend a lot of time on the forums and I haven't started a ton of threads, so it's all tl;dr for me, but has SE made any official statement about implementing (or re-implementing, as the case may be) any of the other Coerthas maps? I'm guessing not in 4.x as none of them are in the "tour of the east" trailer, but it sure would be nice.

The Battle on the Big Bridge bridge currently leads nowhere (Edit: Just kidding, I completely forgot about the Frontlines: Scatter map, but it would still be cool to have it be explore-able outside of PVP), and it would be pretty cool if eastern highlands lead up to Xelphatol and Dawn Vigil was a dungeon.

Just tossing ideas around. Not to mention Central Lowlands apparently evaporated as well.

I think it was the lowlands that turned into a pvp map. Might be wrong on what area, but i do know one of the missing Coerthas areas is now known as Shatter.

Oh would you look at that, I don't think I've ever done Shatter actually haha. I don't much like the PVP system in this game yet, hopefully 4.x will be a good fix

I was hoping that the Eastern Highlands would be added and would bridge the whole Coerthas Region to the other areas of Xelphatol but sadly it seems Xelphatol is just going to stay the dungeon area. Black Shroud will lead to Gry Abania areas. HOPEFULLY it will be an actual zone line and not just talk to NPC by Bae's wall and poof we are in Gry Abania!

1.0 Coerthas will forever remain my favorite area of all of xiv and its sad to see it not vast and mountainy as it used to be.

Omg yes! I would have loved for the one concept art they showed of the coerthas zone having some greenish areas and slowly changing to snow. I guess they scrapped when trying to get 2.0 out :/

The new map UI for 4.0 really shows just how tiny and empty the old regions really are. Mor Dhona being the WORST lol

West Shroud is another missing piece. I hope that we do see some of these areas as explorable areas and others that became dungeons like Xelphatol. I love to explore the areas when waiting for queue or doing nothing in particular.

Yeah it would be really nice if they could QoL the old stuff and expand it, but I guess it kinda makes more sense to spend resources doing new content instead.
