    Suggestion: PUPPETMASTER JOB [Concept Idea] - please support

    Since i started a thread about PUPP i now come along with a small concept idea which you can see below. [B](Concept coming in few secs)

    First of all my idea around the PUPP is based on the job in Final Fantasy XI Online.

    I am a hybrid and pet loving class, what i miss about the recent Pet classes is that they are quiet WoW'ish inspired. You summon your pets, they auto attack and have endless MP/TP so that they spam their skills endlessly (kind of "summon and forget" pets with small additional dmg). With PUPP i want to have a job where you have deep direct control over your pet and where your pet makes a huge amount of your total damage - the master and the puppet being closely interrelated with each other. So that even the emotes of the puppetmaster are being imitated by the puppet. And maybe a battle concept that is combined with the Puppetmasters melee attacks.

    This is just a concept idea from me personally and also relies slightly on the pupp in FFXI but made it more "FFXIV" alike, where the job has its own Interface and mechanic. The similarity which this concept shares is that if you spam your commands to your puppet in FFXI that the pet also fell into "stasis" (how i call it). While Stasis the pet was stunned/ or not able to use any abillity for a period of time.

    MY CONCEPT - SOME IDEAS (all numbers and skills are fictional - just some ideas to come up with)

    As much as it'd be cool for more jobs. Can we cool it for bow? We are getting 2 new ones in little time and asking for more at this time seems to be greedy

    Though i understand what you mean.

    I asked for it about 3 years ago But for now i come along with a concept idea.

    So it would be nice if you would support it if you find PUPP all in all interesting. Im not asking here for PUPP being implemented this year or whatsoever.

    So i would really appreciate if you would have to say anything around the job (concept) itself Even if it doesnt look like it, i spend some time on it

    To be honest, if they were to add this job, and I wouldn't really want them to, I would want it to be completely different from the XI version. So I don't like this idea at all.

    It's obvious you went through a lot of work to put that graphic together. I'd say I have to agree that it's a bit too soon to be discussing new jobs for 5.0 when 4.0 hasn't even hit yet. Even then, I'd think the game would be better off bringing a new tank and healer to 5.0. If they absolutely wanted to bring dps instead, there are better options for implementation, such as BLU, Chemist, Spellblade, DNC, or maybe even BST

    Not going to happen, now that we know what the early development jobs were going to be the next jobs in 5.0 are sealed I would say.

    If they decide make puppetmaster (I doubt it because pet classes doesn't work very well in this game) I prefer it is his own thing adapted to FFXIV style, and not just a FFXI nostalgia class. Better just no base class or Job hybrid, like other new jobs. Also It is better other kind of puppets, not Mammets.

    Having a job with that much variety doesn't seem like it'd work in XIV at all, plus the gauge thing just seems like a copy of Mch's for 4.0

    Plus you have a '15 minute cooldown' on there. Those only exist in XI dude >>

    Not to mention I don't want someone going about switching their puppet willy nilly and provoking/messing with people in dungeons/ect, this is just bad in my opinion.

    And 'OH NO MY PUPPET KEEPS DYING LOL!' losing 45% of their DPS is just way too much.
