    with less options for what classes you can bring into a fight with 4 man, it can be just as difficult if not moreso if done right

    i mean right off the bat

    8 man fight= 1-2 tanks, 1-2 healers, 4-6 dd

    4 man fight
    1 tank
    1 healer(maybe even 2)
    2 dd


    the fight can be more demanding if you dont have that extra healer to keep things going if 1 goes down or runs low on mana, so in a 4 man fight it can go wrong in so many more ways

    You know what solved all this problem? Add in an Instances Que like all game right now are doing. This way people don't have to sit around, or don't even need large Linkshell to do high level group contents.

    Que as Solo: You can que as yourself and will be added to the next available group. If your job is Tank build your role will be Tank automatic. If you're DPS you be DPS.

    Que as Group: You already form a party but missing just a few people so now you que in as a Group for the next few people to form the group.

    Now everyone is happy. I hope it is like this in 2.0. Many time I find it frustrating all this 8 people Contents and small Linkshell will not get in the action. FFXIV doesn't even have a world chat so picking up group is even hard.

    we killed ogre in about 30 seconds the other day with people who have never even done it, on top of that we also kill batraal.

    I think there should be high lvl "instanced" content for both type of parties for light and full, but not the same. Especially with same rewards.
    It doesn't make sense to allow people who prefer light-party play to experience the same epic content as those who enjoy full-party play? I don't follow.
