Holmgang, Hallowed Ground, Living Dead, Benediction, Flare, Gravity, Dragon Fire Dive, Perfect Form, etc..
Some content has most certainly been balanced around LBs (in Savage raids) some intentional, some not.No individual LBs. Healer LB3 isn't really 'extra', it doesn't cleanse Brink of Death/res sickness, so it doesn't delete mistakes, it just helps you hang on.
Some fights require Tank LB3 (Alexander Prime)
Gordias, namely A3S was so tightly tuned on progression, you're damn skippy they took LB3s from DPS into account (At low ilevels, you'd get 2 full ones, maybe more.)
I do agree on the idea of having our own LBs in dungeons, can't say I agree with the QTE as the only game that had it (to my knowledge) was FFVIII and FFX but if a QTE is what decided on our LB being used to the full potential, lag spike, latency and such may interfere. When it comes to A11, while it is a QTE, its a "press any key", even a toddler would pass it. I admit it was a nice flavor and change but ultimately pointless. If they wanted to make a QTE mini-game for Gold Saucer however, I would be all for it.

I can agree with this. Anytime I have thought of limit break it was always on an individual basis with my experience in other FF games. I think having it tied to a party LB is a bit limiting. Don't get me wrong, I think a group LB is a great concept but it is lack luster that its reserved really only to specific situations.

This kind of skillchains existed at the beginning of v1.0 ff14 but they remooved it....maybe it asked too much cohesion in a group (we all know how it's difficult sometimes to play with others when no one wants to put some efforts in it). And the battle system speed has rised too at 2.0. so those skillchains vanished.
Anyway i agree, LBs could be better.
And imo each job should have an offensive and a defensive LB, as a main healer i'm so desperate sometimes to write 10 times in the tchatlog "LB" "plz use LB" come on plz use LB" "DPS LB???" and none DPS use it or at the worst moment.
And if we follow there logic, we should have a LB4 once we will reach the lv70?
