Can we PLEASE get a GC Re-Assignment?

My best friend who I play the game with and I both chose our respective Grand Companies entirely based onclass specific weapons, thinking the weapons in each GC were what each one favored in terms of overall rewards.

ONLY to find out once we both made said choices that we are now unable to participate in all the GC group related quests together.

Now with the new items being released, it further kicks both of us in the pants with how the player segmentation works.

Can we please be allowed to re-choose our CG for the duration of this patch now that the entire reason we has made our choices has been made obsolete?

-Added-- More to the point, The items aren't the reason for switching, they were the reason for the initial choice. The tiems are not relevant now that my friend and I are both rank 50, and know better as to what weapons/gear are actually useful. The more pressing issue here is that the game did not tkae the proper measures to instruct new players who don't read the forums 20 hours a day, about the limitations of choosing which company you join. Specifically in reguards to questing with friends and doing in game content that is suddenly segmented. There is no good reason to disallow people from other Grand Companies to co-run the group quests available. There is also no good reason to further fragment the existing dwindling playerbase for the next year.

Also my 2 cents: Creating more and more ways to segment your already rediculously small and soon to be dwindling player base is the worst idea I have ever heard of in a cooperative non faction based MMO. Bonus seals on Ifrit for a full party in the same GC, and quests that are only do-able within yoru GC makes this game that much more lonely to play.

there is no GC group quest afaik, the GC quest atm are SOLO. Wait for "Free Companies" it ll give you GC group

Looking at the GC item list, it really give me the urge want to change to other city.
some items is just much better in one and super sux in the other (L50 lance as an example).

Well, at least the armor gear from GC are equally ugly for everyone!

We were warned time and time again that any rewards would be balanced over time and that our personal opinion of a company should define our choice.

Even in game, we were warned by Cid to choose very carefully.

If you didn't make a careful decision based on these warnings, then that is your problem, so don't go begging to the devs.
