Macros for Ninjutsu

I never really used much macros before but realized (or thought) that Ninja is THE one where you really need it.

Unfortunately I cannot work out how to make a macro for it like ten....chi....etc

It is nowhere shown (some explanations of what they do is rampant) and somehow now on this forum it looks to me like there is no macro for it.

So THE main job which is most suitable for macro's does not have macros for the job items?

(OK I realize forums these days mainly abuse people as 'stupid' or 'lazy to look it up' etc would be nice if you could restrain, it is not nice even though you are anonymous)

You won't find them here because macros really shouldn't be used in combat for this game. Specifically for your question mudras and ninjutsu are finicky as far as lag and execution. A Macro will cause you to fail a lot of ninjutsu overall.

You wouldn't want to use macros for this, nor other battle content. Mudras specifically because you can't set a macro delay as fast as their cooldown, but the general reason is that macros can't use the invisible skill queue like normal actions do.
They'd be ultimately slower and inefficient.

Also you'd be turning 3 buttons into 7. You have Ten Chi and Jin, but you'd want macros for all seven jitsus? I know Ninja doesn't have the most buttons to press but it sounds hard on the hotbars lol.

You won't find them, because they are terrible to use. The time clipping you would need to use for the mudras would create a huge dps loss. Ninja would the the last class you would want to use a macro for.

If you HAVE to macro something on NIN, macro shukuchi (sp)

Don't. You'll slow yourself down at best and ruin your ninjutsus at worst. Also, you'll end up with many more buttons on your hotbars than you'd have if you just learn to do them manually.

Ninja is really one where your really DON'T want to use macros. For a start, you'd end up with more buttons rather than less - plus they use a lot of ocd's, and they are hell with macros.

There's nothing to fix, because it's working as intended by the developers. They don't want macros playing the whole game for you.

Macro's are not needed for Ninjas. As others have said in the thread you'd only be gimping yourself if you macro'd ninjutsu. Is it the memorization of the mudra combinations that you're having issues with? Or?

Does that mean we can stop saying things like "fix housing" or "fix WHM"?

You know exactly what he means, and I too would like to see an actually functional macro system.

I use to forget the combos so I made the macros more to remind me of the combos without going through the ability menu. You SHOULD NOT use macros for ninja mudras as it creates a HUGE LOSE in DPS, and they take much longer to cast. Here's what a macro for Doton would look like though. ^^
