I dunno if there was a post about this yet but since sch loses leech at level 40 are they planning to compensate this with a new skill or something?

Based on media tour, doesn't seem like it. But it's not like only Scholars lost -something- (which they didn't, by the way). It simply got shifted elsewhere
Leech is now cross class and its name is Esuna.
What happens to class quest unlocked abilities then?
Like say I do my class quest for 40 and unlock the ability... is it Esuna now instead of leech?
i know it's going to be esuna, but what im confused of is since it was a level 40 job quest will they make the level 40 job quest void, since you don't get anything at that level anymore?
I assume job quests will no longer provide a skill relevant to the context of quest any longer. Keeping this as a constraint would hinder future development and changes for jobs. Its was nice but I don't think the trade off will be worth it long term.
I don't mind the abilities matching the content of the quest so much... as the idea of not getting an ability at all or it being the exact same as another quest.
Kind of ruins the point. Hopefully they put the few job unique skills in the quests
Class quests typically don't recieve much attention as the game goes on. For instance if you miss talking about Dragon Eyes and feel like chatting with Estinien again and you've yet to start leveling a DRG, then there's your chance.
