The one thing I will miss about the cross-class system

Hello, everyone. I got to thinking, and as much as I love the role system, there is one thing I will miss about the cross-class system: the feeling that multiclassing makes the Warrior of Light stronger.

For example, it felt really good when I picked up DRK, and my character's training on PLD and WAR actually made him better, via the cross-class skills.

It helped mitigate the dissonance of going from level 60 to 1 swapping classes and suddenly a lucky squirrel can take you out.

I don't believe there's a way to capture that feeling without making multiclassing a mandatory thing again (which they want to avoid), so I won't ask for it, but I will miss that feeling.

At least we wont have to worry about people playing classes with provoke(on a non tank class). Although watching the tanks in 24 mans witch hunt one another was slightly funny at times.
