PART 1: I'm sure this has been said a million times by now, and I know the expansion isn't even out yet, but I just want to put in my two cents. This is coming from a perspective of respect and loving XIV so this isn't a rant or whining. Yoshi, SE, this expansion is looking amazing. I can't wait to play it and I am generally very happy with what it looks to be, but, please for the next expansion or preferably sooner release new jobs.

PART 2: I know about the math and mechanics behind job balancing, I work in IT and i understand complex networking, server load and processing load for things like graphics and characters and inventory and all that. It isn't that hard to do. The thing I think most of us look forward to the most in this kind of game is: 1. new open world areas to explore 2. new jobs. New jobs might be number 1 not number 2. So please in the future make more jobs and areas the priority. With SB its looking like the areas are gonna be A+, but 2 jobs just doesn't cut it (although the two jobs look amazing).

With that outta the way, I think we only got two jobs this go, because of the sheer overhaul to the battle system. It must have been quite the lengthy undertaking... But like you, I ALWAYS WANT MORE of this game. More jobs, more gear, more hairstyles, more story, more! It's so good I cant help it

I agree, and as I said above, my post shouldn't be read as me complaining in a whiny voice or me thinking or feeling like SE sucks or they owe us more or blah blah... It is just me making sure they see that jobs are high on my list and I think a lot of other players too.

It was also stated that adding new tank jobs and healer jobs during Heavensward did not increase the overall tanks or healers; Rather the same healers and tanks before HW switched between these classes and their current. They may be reexamining these classes to see what can entice more DPS players into the healer or tank role.

Tbh if they wanted they could make a shogun class later on, be like samurai but thats 100% doubtful in my eyes. I still would love to see shogun in some tank gear :O

Really? I am pretty excited for Stormblood, and 2 classes in an expansion is great (most MMO's will give 1). RDM and SAM both look great.

IMO, pretty much the worst thing about Stormblood is how crappy the new areas look, though. I'm not sure if the footage we've seen of everywhere is final yet, though. The water just looks terrible.

We don't need more jobs. They had a hell of a time balancing three last time around. This was the correct call. The other jobs got pretty big overhauls as well.

Eh your seeing them in a video and stream not in person, live letter areas looked great. I dont see how you think this tbh.

Again just to reiterate... I love XIV, that's why I play it. I made sure I pointed out that my post wasn't to be taken as a negative rant, only an opinion. I am way excited for SB! I think the re-balancing is mostly awesome and I'm really excited to take my WAR and MNK for a spin. I am really happy for the most part about SB and all it brings, I just would like to see a bunch more jobs. I don't think the balancing issues at the beginning of HW were that big a deal. I played AST and MCH when they came out. It's like anything else, let people play them, if they are unbalanced, fix them. It wasn't all that big a deal. All they have to do is open a database table and change some potency values and take it for a test run. Either way this post isn't a "I'm dissatisfied with this game and I want to bitch" its a "I love this game and I want more of it because I enjoy it so much"

Again, Yoshi and team, I haven't played SB yet but I have watched tons of streams, played tons of pre SB XIV, and played tons of other MMOs so I'm pretty confident I know how it's going to feel to play SB and based on that... GREAT JOB! I'm really looking forward to it.... all I'm saying is, a FF world without BLU, PUP, BST, DNC, and all the other cool jobs we could name is a FF world that's not as cool as it can be.
