Error -24202 - Failure to Recognize Credit Card For Subscription Renewal

I wanted to renew my subscription by registering a new credit card when my current subscription expired today. When I went to enter my new credit card information, the response was only "Error - 24202", with a link in Japanese characters, to the Square Enix Account Management page. However, when I use that page, it gives me the same error message when trying to input my new credit card information.

Please resolve this issue so that I can renew my subscription.

Sounds like it could be Four things.

One card information may have changed, security code if new card was issued ect.

Second Card has been reported lost or stolen and may need to contact financial institution Fraud department, not customer service.

Third IP address could be conflicting or is being blocked...Hopefully you did nothing wrong.

Fourth Billing system is temp. down.

Worst case scenario you could try buying a time card from Amazon and use that as a temp solution and can test card as well.
