Dishonest Thordan's Bird farm by Richard Villenuve

Party Finder was recruiting for Thordan's Bird Farm and said don't roll if you die. After 3 runs, the Round Lanner Whistle dropped and the loot was mastered looted to himself and then disbanded the party. I didn't die and didn't get to roll. This dishonestly left a very bad ffxiv experience and I hope it's not the norm in some communities. Beware this can happen!!

If you have it all screen shotted I think that runs under the fraud section of the ToS.

Even though I disagree, there's this rule where you must not publicly disclaim a player's name, even with proof. Be wary of that. It is probably safer that you remove mention of the player's name.

I suggest you contact the support directly ingame. The only time I've done that, I was contacted by a GM within minutes.

While I'm sure plenty appreciate the PSA about this PoS player, the forum has a strict policy on "naming and shaming." I would edit out the names of your post, and then follow-up with a GM for a report. I'm not sure what will happen, but reporting may make you feel a bit better about it. Maybe everyone will get lucky and this player will be suspended.

But yeah, definitely take out all the identifying info in your post before you're in trouble yourself.

Thanks, I've taken out the name and will be filing a in-game case. I already feel better. I just needed to vent it off.

I have found that when the party leader is lootmastering a bird farm, prob not a good idea to stay, as unfortunately, this system gets miss-used too much and the temptation for some to just take the bird is too great.

Also, if you're in a lootmaster party doesn't it say so at the start of duty? Probably should have left at that point if it wasn't agreed on going lootmaster.

As for reporting, no harm trying but... I'm pretty sure acts like this isn't rule breaking. You can lie and be dishonest all you want as long as you're not hacking or abusing chat/hate related rules.

Could be completely wrong on that... would love someone to show proof otherwise

You are wrong. GMs will look at logs and take action.
