The opening theme is intriguing. Really curious about the new rank of Imperials we see with the cross-faced helm. The areas look so great, man.

I wonder what Rhalgr's beacon is.... hmm... perhaps a flare set up to coordinate an assault?
Zenos does appear to be threatening. Looks like Y'shtola is out of commission--which explains her absence in Othard.
I don't know what's going on during the Yotsuyu voice-over but I hate her voice, lol.
Where is Alphinaud at Susano? Hmmm. I wonder how parrying Susano is gonna work--gonna be really lame with a book, I can tell already!
Is Hien saddled with guilt for "deserting" Doma? or does he suspect Yugiri and Gosetsu work for Yotsuyu now? Curious intro to be sure.
Ixion looks like a FATE/Hunt. Thank god we're going to pass that awful Fortemps theory.
I got way too excited for Estinien and his new armor. It wasn't even a good shot!
Zenos seems to let us live in Rhalgr's Reach then we meet again in Yanxia and this time his blade is covered in dark magicks...?
The final line "Only man has the wisdom and the clarity to embrace violence for its own sake." sounds like something we should expect of Zenos but the voice sounds different than "So spirited... yet so empty"
Where is Alphianud? How disconcerting. We saw him in Revolutions but not this--I wonder if he takes a backseat now?
We know Krile arrives with us in Rhalgr's Reach via Revolutions M/V, but we only see her 'asleep' and contained in the launch trailer. I suspect when the Empire storms the Reach they take her prisoner and experiment on her due to the Echo--sort of like the XIVth wanted to do with Minfilia.
Urianger knowing the poem fits, since the Yoshida post said "a strange hooded man" handed it to him--but it is an Ancient Eastern proverb, apparently.

PREDICTIONS THUS FAR:
Alliance retakes the Wall, we meet the Resistance in the Reach and launch an attack on Ala Mhigo.
We either fail and get ambushed or get ambushed before the attack. We retreat, old dude dies, Y'shtola is injured. Zenos lets us live because he sees no sport in killing us now when we could get stronger.
We run away to Doma on Gosetsu/Yugiri's request. We deal with the Kojin and Susano for Kugane then move inward toward Yanxia and begin our search for Hien which leads us to the Steppes and the various Au Ra tribes. We probably deal with the underwater Temple now since it's supposedly a hold-out of Raen or something?
We lead a revolt in the Doman palace and with the combined forces of the Tribes, Scions, and Doman people we force Yotsuyu out of the palace.
Zenos appears and gives us a firm dressing down, but decides we're still not worthy of killing.
Emboldened by the retaking of the Doman palace, the Alliance and Resistance prepare to launch a second assault on Ala Mhigo.
The Scions / Warrior of Light lead a sneak attack on the Magitek Facilities to hinder their deployment in the coming battle and from there go straight to the Ala Mhigan Palace / Zenos' room.

I suspect the ship graveyard will be optional, something like "hey we found this cool thing while sailing to Doma, maybe you wanna check it out?"

That can't be the Magitek Research Facilty though as that is already in the game - it's part of the Praetorium (where you storm through the Proto-Ultima Arms with magitek armour.). Unless the SB location is named something else ('Devil's Lab' maybe? ). Or maybe 'Magitek Factory #VI or something? (further referencing FFVI ).

Again that is already in the game (it's part of the Isle of Umbra in Western La Noscea, where you had to destroy those undead during ARR's original main scenario). Hence this new SB dungeon is officially called 'The Sirensong Sea' according to the Stormblood website) - that name though definitely hints at the FFV dungeon though (sirens? ).
