No, unfortunately the items are lost.

The concept behind this is prevent cheating.
E.g. A player is doing a difficult / expensive craft and HT is just being terrible. S/He knows it is going to result in NQ; therefore, s/he disconnects and get back the items.
The potential for abuse is far too high.
Legitimate disconnects are just lumped in.

What has been asked for hundreds of times with no response is why the craft state cannot be maintained through a disconnect. Thus, when you come back, you pick up the craft exactly where you left off. Even if they only maintained the crafting state in active memory for say 30 minutes it would be enough for the vast majority of legitimate disconnects and be immune to cheating.
