Aye, one of my biggest complaints about Skyrim was that it felt like an offline MMO. I got bored after a while and felt like I should be able to chat with someone.Aside from the fact that loving or hating a vidya game is completely subjective, Skyrim had at launch, more quests, more interesting places to go, and more to do than FFXIV has even now after being released over a year ago. For a single player RPG to be able to do that in comparison to, what SHOULD have been, a high production MMO by a notoriously famous RPG company is pathetic. And I couldn't help but laugh when you said that the game mechanics of SKyrim haven't changed since MOrrowind mostly because the FF series is now well over 14 main titles deep and still follows the same "press x for everything" game mechanic. I certainly am not trying to tell you what games to love, and if you don't like skyrim, right on, to each his own. BUt the reason people are making comparissons is because it was still produced and released better than this title, which has been floundering since release.
