I know right, because it has the best combat ever found in a single player RPG, epic and brilliant story, cutting edge animations, mind blowing voice work and dialogue, sprawling and vibrant gameworld (with epic and extremely memorable cities), and the fact that the sheer unpredictability from one opponent or task to the next gives it practically unlimited enjoyability.
It is the best video game ever made, how dare anyone suggest that they wouldn't rather be playing it right now!

The development times are already realistic enough for a project of this scale. They aren't being slow from an industry standard standpoint.
ITT: Christmases ruined.
Aww, does the truth hurt? People hate on skyrim because the game is overrated to oblivion (zinggg).I love how people hate on Skyrim just cuz they think it makes them sound cool.
I think it's overrated too i bought it cause of all the hype and kept falling asleep cause of the boring ass combat i can't believe ppl was complaining about turn based combat lol...
The gameplay hasn't progressed anywhere since what, Morrowind? I don't think these kind of shortcomings should go unnoticed. it's still a vidya game damn it. Plus, there is a lot more (quality) competition in the market nowadays. open world game is nothing special.
The UI is horrible in every way imaginable. All it needs is innate lag to be on par with XIV. At least XIV is not overrated.
lol everyone bashed me for trading it in i just didn't have that magic to me <.< It felt like GTA with rpg elements lolThe gameplay hasn't progressed anywhere since what, Morrowind? Edit: i think US gamers love anything with open world in it that auto makes the game = gopod cause it gives a false sense of freedom, I say this being a American gamer.

i kind of have to agree.
i think lady gaga is nothing but a cheap marketing ploy and cant stand the fake trick, but i cant argue with what sounds good to the masses. i mean, how many of you listen to Bjork? shes a musical genious in my book but shed never reach britteny or gaga sales.
then again FFXIII had a large amount of initial sales yet i read nothing but mixed to slightly negative reviews, from the battle system to the linear story line to the excessively predictable character personalities to the annoyance of vanille.
there was one part in the game where Snow got upset so he threw himself on the ground, eyes closed and i thought to myself "lol omg watch hes gonna hammer fist the ground" AND LOW AND BEHOLD HE DID JUST THAT lol how trite.
i myself played up until i got the shiva sisters and never looked back.
ps, i think the battle system in skyrim sucks. well at least on PC... WHERE IS MY ACTION BAR?
