I know it's going to go unappreciated here because a lot of people are in a Yoshi love cult but here goes nothing lol

Whilst everyone is defending SE, you have to admit, a delay ontop of a delay is pretty unproffesional for a service we're expected to start paying for next month.
And whilst im sure people will always retort with, then don't pay, it doesn't change how unorganized they are.

Not unprofessional at all... and I am happy they found this bug before it got out and caused the servers to start crashing... actually it is very professional of them to come out and say they are going to have to delay due to finding said bug. I would say it would be sort of unprofessional if they found the bug but pushed out the patch anyways because they didn't want to delay the patch any more.Whilst everyone is defending SE, you have to admit, a delay ontop of a delay is pretty unproffesional for a service we're expected to start paying for next month.

Theres always some excuse, every patch.
It wouldn't be such an issue if they didnt tell us to originally expect it as early as late november, then early december, then delayed again.
Defending their proffesionalism would just be plain ignorant.

so your saying its acceptable to release a patch with a gamebreaking bug?
gotcha
releasing a broken patch vs delaying it a few days, its all about which is the lesser of 2 evils, and anyone whos ever played a real "broken patch" in any mmo would tell you its better to delay a patch by a measly 2 days to fix it vs not being able to log on cuz the server is always crashed(in which case theyd be waiting to log on anyway)

You make it sound like they are fixing a bug they didn't cause.so your saying its acceptable to release a patch with a gamebreaking bug?

I wouldn't want to play a game that has crash bugs ect of course, but don't get our hopes up when they are already on shaken ground.

Oh give it up. Welcome to the world of software development. Bugs need to get fixed. Get over your entitlement.
