They are unable to give a specific ETA for the release of patch 1.20.

Patch is like 2 months late if you consider that every previous patch has been late. If the delays weren't cumulative we would be getting 1.21 in 2 weeks.


Now they can't even give an ETA for it according to the JP post, but I don't see them delaying the start of the charging period.

The moment I heard when they were originally going to release the patch, I had a feeling (well, I knew) it would get delayed and guessed sometime around the 20th as a release date for it. It's going to be interesting to see how close I was in the end.

The fact that they don't actually have an ETA for it at the moment is very disheartening, but if the plan is to release it along with the Christmas event, we should get it before Christmas at least.

I'm not surprised actually. In the IT things like that are everyday business. Are a pain in the ass, both for programmers and end users, but that can't be avoided. We must just play the waiting game longer, as we should do in every case until 2.0

Well, the best solution (in my opinion) would be to give themselves more time. If every patch gets delayed by 2-3 weeks, then maybe they should give themselves 2-3 extra weeks to begin with. That way, if they manage to get it ready earlier they could release it ahead of time and everyone would be happy.
