It would be nice, i dont think be possible. As it would likely be a choice of "work tough on server" "work on game improvements/content".

More people want stuff regarding the games content and what you play, not backend changes that they cannot see, but does affect them.

I want more than anything is server fixes, but then the question remains that even if they did lots of server changes they will likely need to fix the game to work with those changes, which is easier when making a new game that is built for the fixed servers, so... that is what they are doing it seems.

They likely have completely different setup for the new servers and have it all complete, just still building tools for it and still building v2. As the v1 is incompatible with it.

It has been explicitly said, pay for the game if you feel it's worthy.

Since you don't feel it's worthy, don't pay until the new server structure is implemented. Problem solved.

on the server fix? I really don't feel like paying to play for a whole year when my spells don't even get cast half of the time due to server problems -.-

With your magical thinking it could be possible, however real life limitations prohibit it. Too bad for you. Also, spells do get cast, if you would just stop mashing the spell button, you'd stop cancelling the casting.

Press button. Wait 2 seconds. Spell begins casting. Spell channels for 5+ seconds. Spell goes off. Cooldown resets, but is not recognized by the server as I have to wait 2-3seconds longer before I can recast.

how is this a dumb thread? Are you implying that the servers aren't a problem? Are you saying that you wouldn't want them to primarily focus on the biggest issue with the game?

is about as much a false statement as it gets. For that matter I bet I can go on almost any game forums and link you 100 post of players claiming thay have lag do to said game, all the while you sit here and claim not other game out there has lag. I know who I believe.

How am I lying? I get 0 lag on other games and by lag, I'm not talking about FPS lag. I'm talking about the time it takes for the game to respond to my commands. SO YES, it is COMPLETELY Square's fault on this. The devs themselves have even said that the server needs to be redone. Why not focus it, as it is the biggest problem with the game?
