The Belias we saw from the SMN quest line is an Egi, and just that. We don't know how its true form looks like. It could very well be something like Ifrit, but the dev team made it look like an alternate color of the Ifrit Egi.

Yeah the weapon... not everyone of previous summons stayed as enemies like unicorn and Kirin are mounts.... sylph is a race and cait sith (stray) is an allied NPC

It was also a term used in FFXIV version 1.0 to describe the body's aetheric tolerance to teleporting, serving effectively as a 'teleport gauge', each time you teleported to an aetheryte it consumed anima (the further away your destination aetheryte was, the more anima was consumed), so if you used up all your anima you couldn't use Teleport or Return anymore until the body (very slowly) regenerated it. Although anima is still referred to by npcs in ARR in this context, it's kind of handwaved away as a gameplay mechanic in favour of a gil fee for teleporting.

Either way, it was this context that I was more hinting at with including 'Anima' as a reference to the FFX summon.
