Stormblood standard pack

So the $40 standard edition for Stormblood says (at least on the North American store page) that it includes Heavensward. I tried asking the support team when I could expect to get access to it, since I wasn't sure when and their response was that during the early access, from the 16th-19th, I will have HW but that after early access ends I need to buy the expansion still. I've heard several people saying that after the 20th anybody who bought SB will have access to HW if they didnt already have it, but the support team is contradicting this. Anybody else have input or clarification? I have screenshots as well of their responses.

When you preorder Stormblood you will be granted early access which will open up everything in the game for you through Stormblood. However, that is just a trial so to speak, that does not give you access after that period ends to an expansion you dont already own. So you will need to buy Heavensward, AND Stormblood since story is locked behind the final Heavensward MSQ. So you can either buy them separate or wait to see if they bundle the two. Early Access will last at least until the 23rd from what I read, for those who are getting physical copies of the game and may have issues with shipping to get their game codes.

Stormblood includes Heavensward. You just can't use use Heavensward until the 16th (when Stormblood starts to work). If you want to play it before then, you'd have to buy it separately.

This is why I actually came to the forums for this. I was joping to get more definitive answers than one person saying HW is only early access with the SB expansion, and another person saying HW is bundled with it and not just for early access. The answers conflict, and I'm hoping someone more intimately familiar, like an admin or something, could shed light on this.
Seeing how the store page DOES say stormblood includes HW, it would seem like bad practice and moderately disappointing if its just a farce to rope more people to coming back who quit before heavensward.

I realized I haven't posted where on the page it says the standard edition says it comes with HW, so i uploaded the screen i took with my phone since im at work. As seen in it, it only says it comes with Heavensward and that if you want to play the expansions, you need to still own ARR. Thats all it says on the matter.

Yes Stormblood doesn't include ARR, but you didn't ask about ARR You only asked about HW and Stormblood does come with HW as you've found yourself

If you want ARR as well then you're probably better off buying the complete bundle of ARR+HW+SB, but that isn't released until the 20th June so you can't play until then. You could however create a trial account before then so play for now and then activate the full game with the complete bundle later.

If it included Stormblood, then they might as well throw in ARR, so I doubt it does include HW, unless you buy the expansions seperate or the complete edition. When HW was released, ARR was not included when you purchased it, so I think it's going to be more of the same.

Please note that the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood expansion pack also includes FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward. This package requires FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Starter Edition (A Realm Reborn) to play the game.

They're selling the base product (Starter Edition - A Realm Reborn) as one purchase and then the expansions as another. Since you need Heavensward to play Stormblood, perhaps they don't want new people to be put off by having to purchase multiple expansions so they're bundling all expansions together into one one purchase and perhaps 5.0 will include the existing expansions in the new expansion.

I've a free code for (US) ARR if you haven't got that.. Bought it on a whim for $2 a year back but never ended up registering or using it in any way. Pretty much wasted at this point.
