Now to contribute to the thread. I have been PLD since 2.0 but I've been waiting for RDM in this game since the day FFXIV was announced and they put pictures up of all the weird new class types that were coming with this wild new MMO. So I'll have to make the switch...but tanking is a tough mistress to turn your back on, so PLD will probably be the second lv. 70 as they giving them some attention.
idk man... if PLD tanking is anything like it was in 2.0 its going to be pretty boring. PLDs back then were god mode... i was tanking dungeons in my underwear just to give the healers something more to do. I think the swap to RDM will make your life more interesting... though RIP queue times
