Rerolling to a miner because I heard every battle class is terrible now and no one should play them.

I have been tanking for two years now, before that I was a Healer in ARR so I am gonna start my very first DPS main in Stormblood as RDM. This class looks like so much fun to play.
I may be switching from a Main MNK to a SAM. Either way, I'm getting MNK to 70 first as it's my current main and I'm hard-pressed to give up this easily. But from the look of the changes, more than likely switching to SAM main as it will be the second class I level to 70.
I think we are a lot of main monks who are planning to do that.I may be switching from a Main MNK to a SAM. NIN like always is a bit odd to figure out, not all their skills are quite straight forward so I was dubious...
But looking again they seem to have a new opener with quite the monstrous potency, and I really wanna test it out.
It feels like the GCD cycle is a bit lackluster tho, so I may enjoy jobs with a bit more GCD activity like MNK and SAM right after.
Rerolling from MNK to probably DRG.
I'll be going SAM first then RDM on a separate character. I'm staying DPS so no real change in roles.
I always like to get 1 tank 1 heal and 1 dps to max first. I think for 4.0 I'll go pld, ast, rdm.
Am I the only one here that's sticking with Monk? :/ I actually wasn't too impressed with Samurai after watching it in action.
Rerolling to Samurai. It was my main in FFXI and I've been waiting years for the job to be released in this game.![]()
