Yup... but you an only do it once every 3 Dreadwyrm Trance cycles.
Basically you'll have to do 2 Normal Dreadwyrm Trances... each seperated by a 60 second recast timer on the Aetherflow... and then AFTER that... you get the Bahamut Egi for roughly 20 seconds... and then are back to normal damage (in this case nerfed damage).
The normal Summoner damage got nerfed really bad for the rest of the time you play... so for about 20 seconds every 3 minutes or so you get enhanced damage... but the rest of the time you'll be doing nerfed damage and unable to compete with the other caster classes.
So in the long term Bahamut won't make much difference in overall DPS...... and you won't see it very often.
But hey... it sure looks KEWL doesn't it?
It's kind of a sucker play for shallow people to bite on.
Silver? Just stfu okay? Still spreading this dps-overall-nerf-bs although Happy and other reddit-crafter analysed the burst structure let u look even more clueless. please just stop this.
Yeah that's the same Mr Happy that admitted he doesn't play one regularly and had no idea how they're played normally.
Thank you both for the info, but please don't fight over this. Whether nerfed or not we'll see how the SMN class plays once we actually play the game. Honestly, to me, I don't think the SMN nerf is going to be as overkill as we think like how WHM was revealed. But that's opinion, so lets just look forward to the rebuolt class and see how it is later on release, kay?![]()
Even though it's not his cls hes way more cable of to see things through, while analysing STRUCTURES behind skills/systems, not to mention that hes top tier theorycrafter and member of worlds first progress in raids. Anyway it's senseless to talk with you any further if you question Someone like him. ciao.

I said more than once that he just should wait and see. But hes crying and whining in every smn thread again and again - this made me kinda furious .___.
I commend you for being one of few people trying to make sure everyone understands that Silver is full of crap, across multiple threads. Do what you do~
Now to contribute to the thread. I have been PLD since 2.0 but I've been waiting for RDM in this game since the day FFXIV was announced and they put pictures up of all the weird new class types that were coming with this wild new MMO. So I'll have to make the switch...but tanking is a tough mistress to turn your back on, so PLD will probably be the second lv. 70 as they giving them some attention.
idk man... if PLD tanking is anything like it was in 2.0 its going to be pretty boring. PLDs back then were god mode... i was tanking dungeons in my underwear just to give the healers something more to do. I think the swap to RDM will make your life more interesting... though RIP queue timesI commend you for being one of few people trying to make sure everyone understands that Silver is full of crap, across multiple threads. Hah, I've been weening myself off of queue times by rotating DPS classes for a while. PLD/DRK themselves aren't particularly engaging in any iteration up to this point (I love tanking regardless) but RDM should be my true calling though. Will find out in a few days.idk man... if PLD tanking is anything like it was in 2.0 its going to be pretty boring.
